Dyslexia Scotland Borders is a volunteer led branch of Dyslexia Scotland. The role of the branch is to raise awareness and understanding of dyslexia by holding meetings which anyone with an interest is welcome to attend. The branch committee meets around 4 times a year in order to plan their open meetings and discuss branch business.
Role Description :
Dyslexia Scotland Borders is looking for some new committee volunteers to help us plan our events for the public.

The branch turnover is modest and there are a limited number of transactions, such as room hire or general expenses.
Dyslexia Scotland aims to help people with dyslexia in Scotland reach their full potential. We do this through our national Helpline, training, events and volunteer-led branches across Scotland which hold meetings open to the public.
Experience required: Knowledge of dyslexia is desirable but by no means necessary. No accounting qualifications needed, just the ability to be organised.
Travel details: We meet across the Borders but also hold committee meetings on Zoom.
