Join our gardening team at the Carrick Centre. As a garden volunteer you will have the opportunity to do basic maintenance gardening duties such as cutting grass, pruning, weeding, leaf racking, planting, etc. but also if you would like to step it up a little you could support our service users and different groups.

If volunteers choose to support our groups a PVG and 2 references are required. PVG costs can be covered by the Carrick Centre. Younger volunteers can be exempt of PVG but need 2 references, one of which can be issued by the school.
Experience required: Young people following the Saltire Awards or the Duke of Edinburgh award can apply. The Carrick Centre supports all volunteers and has a no barrier approach to volunteering. All capabilities welcome, the only requirement would be the willingness to participate and support the community. An interest in gardening is definitely considered an asset.
Expenses paid: Yes
Taster available: Yes
This opportunity is also advertised across South Ayrshire.
