Youth work volunteers are a vital part of the team at Hot Chocolate Trust. As a volunteer, you will be part of our weekly open sessions, where you will work as part of the team with a focus on building relationships with the young people who come through the doors, and supporting their holistic development. You can also choose to be involved in a variety of group work, trips, projects, and individual support.
Volunteers can expect a high level of learning and support from us, including a full induction and ongoing training opportunities. We encourage volunteers to bring their unique skills, passions, interests and experiences to HCT and their work with young people. We support volunteers to identify areas they would like to grow and develop too, and seek out opportunities to make this happen.
Hot Chocolate Trust (HCT) is a youth work organisation, working with young people aged 12-25 who hang out in the city centre, building relationships and supporting them through their journey to become agents of change in their lives and communities. HCT is open to all young people without prejudice or distinction of religion, rage, culture, disability, gender identity, sexuality or politics.
