You’ll volunteer without regular time commitments, ‘as and when’ volunteering! Engage with the public, organisations and local communities – promoting a positive image of the NSPCC! You’ll be a valued part of one of our Volunteer Community Fundraising Teams across the UK, raising awareness and funds. We appreciate that work, family and friends come first and, with that in mind, this role offers flexibility to fit in with your lifestyle. The aim of the community book scheme is for members of the general public to give an honesty donation in return for a donated book. To also support the NSPCC Community fundraising manager to create and sustain new book schemes in the local community.
Overall Aim:
To raise funds for NSPCC
• To support the NSPCC Community Fundraising Manager to create and sustain new bookschemes scheme in the local community
• To promote a positive image of the NSPCC book scheme across Falkirk & surrounding areas
• Engage with the public, local organisations and local communities to create new book schemes and to develop positive relationships.
We provide services across Scotland to help give children and young people the support they need to thrive. We have a service centre in Glasgow. We work with children, families and professionals. We support parents and families in caring for their children and provide therapeutic assistance to help children move on from abuse. We also provide help and support through the NSPCC helpline, Childline and our work with schools.

Travel details: We’re looking for enthusiastic, creative and organised people to be a Community book scheme Volunteer. The role is extremely flexible with a commitment of 2 to 3 hours per month. Any travel requirements would be in the local community.
