The administrator corresponds with visiting arts companies, performers and local groups, and keeps information about their fees and show arrangements. Also includes arranging meetings, booking venues, school liaison with teachers and co-operating with other community groups.
The administrator needs to have a passion for the arts and be enthusiastic about promoting local amateur and national professional theatre, music, visual arts, puppetry, children’s theatre poetry, and film.
The aim of the organisation is to arrange a programme of theatre, instrumental music, children’s theatre, in local venues, schools and community facilities, and organise bus trips to major galleries and museums, to remove the barriers to people in the area enjoying and participating in the best of the arts that are available in other major towns and cities
