Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice are looking for volunteers to join their team and to get involved within their charity shops throughout various locations in Glasgow and the surrounding areas.
As a volunteer you will enjoy working within a professional team providing a high quality retail service, assisting in the day to day running of the shop and meeting agreed performance targets to maximise sales and profitability. You can be talking to customers and helping them with their shopping experience, serving customers and help create eye-catching and stylish window displays. It is important that volunteers understand the importance of raising funds through the shop and are able to promote and raise the profile of the Hospice throughout the local community.
The Hospice provides care for patients with a life limiting illness and support for those close to them. This is carried out through a range of services including in patient ward, day services, out patients and family support.
