We are looking for someone who is interested in passing on their knowledge of knitting. Learning knit the basics can be easily done, but there are a lot more complex patterns out there if you have the skills to work them through. The role includes, providing help with those wishing to learn the form of knitting/crochet or tapestry. Making of tea and coffee, set up and clear away at end of day. The ability of our residents will be varied so we need a little imagination as to what can be knitted.
A few of our residents have knitted in the past but now need a little help with patterns, casting on/off or just a little motivation to continue.
