This is an opportunity to undertake a satisfying and rewarding role. As part of our team of volunteers, you will provide customer support, whilst working in a friendly atmosphere, providing an extremely useful and appreciated service to the Charity. Potential volunteers must have a competent level of the English language.
This volunteer role will help make this possible by doing the following:
•Meeting and greeting the entrance of the shop
•Accepting donations and completing gift aid applications
We are Scotland’s health charity supporting people and their families across Scotland with chest, heart and stroke conditions. We want to make sure life living with a chest or heart condition or after a stroke is a life lived to the full. We will fight for better health for everyone and work to make sure there is help and support in every community.

Experience required: •Have a confident, friendly outgoing nature
•Enjoy meeting and engaging with new people
•Enjoy working in a team including the store manager and other volunteers
•Able to volunteer for a minimum of 2 hours a week
Travel details: Based at the Chest Heart & Stroke Community Hub in Dunkenny Square Drumchapel

Expenses details: Reasonable out-of-pocket expenses will be reimbursed. These should be discussed with your Line Manager prior to outlay and must be submitted within the prescribed guidelines as detailed in the CHSS Volunteer Expenses Policy.
