Aberdeen Amateur Boxing & Athletic Club is an organisation deeply seated into the community in and around Aberdeen. It is one of the oldest boxing clubs in Scotland.

The organisation is making a formal call to recruit new voluntary members. The role of Administrator & Club Secretary is an integral part of the organisation and is a ‘backbone post’ due to its focus on the following key areas:
-Managing all administrative business of the organisation:
-Organising all meetings, preparations, follow-ups and all paperwork processes to achieve this.
-Conduct the official secretarial duties of the Club, including minute taking of all official minutes
-Liaise with Boxing Scotland and any affiliated organisations or groups.
-Source and administer all funding requests.
-Deal with all booking enquiries and classes, keeping appropriate databases of members.
-Source and advise on matters that will improve the business of the organisation, wherever appropriate

Experience required: Excellent people skills with a good range of communication and organisational skills. Experience in the work of charitable organisation and general business understanding.
Travel details: Central Aberdeen.
Minimum age: 18

Expenses details: All expenses need to receive pre-approval and only then can be met by Aberdeen ABC or other clubs if it is their event or the NGB Boxing Scotland Ltd’s event.
