As a voluntary Sales Assistant in the bookshop, you would be required to assist customers in finding their way around the shop, answering their queries, operating the till, replenishing stock and generally exude loveliness! Each volunteer is only required to do one shift (either morning shift 9.30am - 1.00pm or 1.00pm - 5.30pm) per week. Punctuality and reliability are required in order to keep the shop open for the maximum time. this voluntary position will give you a good grounding .

Travel details: 210 Morningside Road (on the right hand side if you are heading down the hill, just before Marks and Spencers). The bookshop is about 2 miles/30 minutes walk from the West End of Princes Street and is well served by buses no. 5, 11, 15, 15a, 16, 17, 33, 38 and 41.
