Required to assist in:
• coming up with new ways to acquire funding – through events, online advertising, celebrity promotions
• researching grant-making organisations and applying for funding.
• approaching businesses and individuals
• organising and helping with fundraising activities such as sponsored or promotional events
• Planning donation campaigns and events, along with the communications needed to ensure they are a success
• ensuring that donors and funders are kept informed about how their money is being used.
• reporting on funding and donation income to trustees, members of the public and charity supporters.
We are a small charity whose aim is to provide employability, career guidance and entrepreneurial workshops to disadvantaged unemployed young people in Africa.

Experience required: Fundraising experience would be advantageous but:
Enthusiasm and strong belief in Way2Go/Way2Go aims in providing its workshops to disadvantaged and unemployed African youth
Ability to speak in public would be advantageous
Good written communication and editing skills
IT skills
Travel details: Sue Doyle is prepared to travel, but travel expenses available when required
Minimum age: 18
