We are looking for Board Members!
The Board support the work of Trust Jack Foundation and provide mission-based leadership and strategic governance. While day-to-day operations are led by Mrs Helen Mitchell as project manager, the relationship is a partnership, and the appropriate involvement of the Board is both critical and expected. Specific Board Member responsibilities will be discussed during recruitment process.
We would like our new board member to have a business, accounts, social care, or social work background to help us cover all aspects of organisation. We would prefer our new board member to have previous experience with funding forms and fundraising to help with applications when required. Fundraising is also necessary for our charity to provide much more to the young people that use our services
Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:
• professional experience with significant executive leadership accomplishments in business, government, philanthropy, or the non-profit sector
• A commitment to and understanding of Trust Jack Foundations beneficiaries, preferably based on experience
• Have diplomatic skills and a natural affinity for cultivating relationships and persuading, convening, facilitating, and building consensus among diverse individuals
• Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a passion for improving the lives of Trust Jack Foundation’s beneficiaries.

Trust Jack Foundation is a registered charitable organisation, based in Stonehouse and they help people from North and South Lanarkshire, Ayrshire and Glasgow. Trust Jack Foundation is dedicated to supporting everyone age 5+, from young people to older people and particularly those who are socially isolated or have been identified as either suffering from a mental health illness or are at high risk of suffering from a mental health illness. They are a mental health awareness and suicide prevention charity who also offer support to anybody who supports someone with a mental health illness. Trust Jack works to improve the emotional well-being and mental health of the local community and beyond, through health and well-being services, therapy, workshops, education and activities.
