We have an experienced team which has much to offer to the wider NGO and statutory sectors. We are looking to recruit volunteer(s) who can assist us in securing opportunities to provide these skills via the public tendering procurement system in Scotland. This is a great opportunity to work within our social enterprise making the beautiful products which wen then go on to sell in a variety of locations. We are looking to recruit volunteer sewers or sewing groups who would like to give some time to assist us in replenishing our stock. All materials including patterns and prototypes provided and we have facilities where you can come and work, alternatively you can do this from home. If you are a creative there will also be an opportunity to share your ideas of other things we could make. This is essential role which allows us to recover more victims of human trafficking in Scotland.

As an Energy Advice Event Volunteer you will support colleagues from our Low Carbon Community Team, as they deliver outreach events across the Highlands.
You will provide light touch energy advice to members of the public, helping them to understand how to reduce their energy use and minimise their carbon emissions.
No prior skills or experience are needed. However, the volunteer will need to have:
•An enthusiastic and positive approach
•An ability to communicate confidently face-to-face with members of the public
•Ability to proactively approach the public
•Ability to follow Changeworks’ process for event management including managing customer data in a secure way
•Flexible outlook and ability to adapt approach
Aberdeen Arts Centre is looking for volunteers to help support our Panto performances of Rapunzel over the festive period.

Quarriers North Lanarkshire Supported Living & East Dunbartonshire Services are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and motivated volunteer to join the team in an Office Assistant role.
Purpose Of The Role:
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our friendly team and provide support with, database input, updating volunteer recruitment files, spreadsheets, and general admin duties.
Main Tasks:
• Input/update data on spreadsheets/database
• Archiving
• Filing & photocopying paperwork
• Dealing with enquiries
• Dealing with incoming/outgoing mail
Previous administration experience is desirable in particular experience of using spreadsheets and databases as the volunteer will be expected to work using own initiative. Initially the volunteer will work alongside current staff until confident in undertaking various office tasks on their own.
Where & When
This opportunity will take place in the office at Chryston. Ideally 3 - 7 hours per week but this dependent on the volunteer’s availability.
Quarriers intandem mentoring service recruits volunteer mentors in local communities across Falkirk, Stirling and Clackmannanshire, the mentors seek to help children aged 8-14 years who are looked after at home by providing; regular visits, access to appropriate activities and a positive role model within the child’s life. We also promote volunteering opportunities by attending open days and events at colleges, work places and universities. The service is looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and motivated volunteer to join the team to help support this work.

SupportedED – The Linda Tremble Foundation needs support group facilitators to help deliver community peer-to-peer support for groups of people affected by an eating disorder.
Volunteers are needed for monthly groups in St Andrews and Kirkcaldy and tasks include:
• Preparing for sessions
• Allowing space for participants to talk
• Asking questions to the group
• Signposting when necessary
By helping people suffering from an eating disorder and their families to discuss their feelings and concerns you can help them to look towards a more positive future. If you are a caring and empathetic person who can help those attending to feel less isolated, more understood, cared for, listened to and supported, SupportED would value your contribution to the team.
Volunteers are part of a supportive, informal and friendly group of fellow volunteers and like-minded people, and all training and support are provided.
