The Community toilets, an integral part of Biggar Corn Exchange, have been managed by a small volunteer Working Group since 2015. Although a lot of work is involved, the service has run fairly well. Many users are very appreciative of the cleanliness and availability of the toilets and leave notes and messages to this effect. The appreciation of the community and visitors makes it very rewarding.
Some of the Working group members have been involved now since 2015, and feel that it is time to step back – at least from executive responsibility. We are seeking some replacements within the next few months.
