Express Group (Fife) Ltd is a mental health charity, operating in Fife for 45 years. They provide group activities and engage with people over 18 experiencing poor mental health.
They are looking for Volunteer Cooks who can prepare simple cooked lunches for groups between 5 and 15 people. Groups meet once, twice or three times a week but there is no need to commit to each day at one location. Groups run from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm with lunch served around 12 noon; the cook can start at a suitable time to achieve this, finishing when clearing up has finished. Each venue has a good size and well-equipped kitchen. Lunch provided and travel expenses reimbursed. Free parking available at all venues.

Would you like to support someone through their cancer journey?
Tayside Cancer Support offers a free, confidential, one-to-one befriending service for those affected by cancer in the Tayside area and help establish support groups which offer a valuable network for people facing a diagnosis of cancer either themselves or in a loved one. In addition, we provide specialist Mindfulness courses for anyone affected by cancer.
Our volunteers are the key to the Charity’s success. Everyone has skills that can be put to good use! If you think you’d like to get involved whether with our fundraising activities and events; getting involved with hospital visits or within our drop in support groups, we would love to have a chat with you.
The Breadmaker (part of Aberdeen Day Project charity)
The Breadmaker is part of the Aberdeen Day Project - a registered charity, successful social enterprise, artisan bakery and coffee house.
We are seeking volunteers who would like to help in a coffee shop/bakery environment and also volunteer with a team to provide training and support for adults with learning disabilities in a working Coffee shop and Bakery environment.
We are also looking for volunteers who might be able to assist with outings , social events 1 to 1 peer support

The Halliday Foundation use skills and knowledge to build relationships with our service users ensuring individuals know they are valued and feel there is hope. This person-centred approach will then progress onto engaging with other services such as drug rehabilitation programmes and accommodation which will hopefully see light for a future.
We are looking for volunteers to help support us in our Community Café. We are situated inside Barrowfield Community Centre, 67 Yate Street, Glasgow, G31 4AQ. Opening hours are from 8am-3pm, and we are looking for volunteers to help for either full (8am - 3pm) or half days (8am - 11.30am or 11.30am - 3pm).
We have a few different roles available:
• Front of house - taking orders and taking payments, preparing and serving hot drinks, restocking drinks and cutlery etc., clearing tables and maintaining high standard of cleanliness in the Café area.
• Kitchen - the kitchen porter, will help with dish washing, general tidying of the kitchen, unpacking daily orders, learning basic kitchen duties.
• Kitchen Assistant - Assisting duty chefs with food preparation and presentation, light cooking duties under supervision.
