We are looking for someone who enjoys engaging with their local community to help our retail team by securing stock donations from shops, local businesses, and community venues. We are looking for someone with first-rate organisational skills to volunteer alongside the warehouse team by helping to prepare and send out orders to our shops, colleagues across the organisation, and our online customers. We believe everyone has the right to live life to the full following the diagnosis of a chest or heart condition, stroke, or Long Covid. We are looking for someone with superb interpersonal skills and the use of their own vehicle to collect and transfer donations made to the shop, providing an extremely useful and appreciated service for the Charity. We currently have around 40 shops/ community hubs across Scotland. Our shops and hubs help us raise funds so we can provide our services to the people who need us. Every one of our stores relies on a team of volunteers to help run it and support our staff. Quite simply, we cannot provide our services or raise funds without the amazing support of our volunteers. The time, support and the work they do is vital to us and the people we help. By helping out in one of our stores, you can make a difference to people and their families in Scotland who are isolated, scared or anxious about their condition.

Ayrshire Cancer Support exists to ensure that help is readily available for those who need it. In line with this mission Ayrshire Cancer Support seeks to involve volunteers to: ensure our services meet the needs of our clients; provide new skills and perspectives and increase our contact with the local community we serve. We need volunteers as Content Creators/Influencers for our social media. If you have an interest in Tik Tok, Instagram, Film Making, Photography, Marketing, Performing Arts, Upcycling, Media, Arts & Fashion, Repurposing and Vintage & Retro please get in touch with us. Although this position is partly home based the volunteer must be able to visit the shop regularly to photograph/video the shop and the displays. We could not continue without our volunteers. You can volunteer as little or as much time as suits you. Main duties: We would love to find some new people to help in our Crown Street charity shop which is open Monday to Saturday. We have teams of volunteers working each day: receiving, unpacking and pricing donations; helping on the shop floor; and serving customers. Ideally volunteers would be able to commit to a full day each week, but even half a day would be welcome.
