Miscarriage Information Support Service (MISS) is offering a rewarding and exciting opportunity for a Secretary to join the Board. This role plays a crucial part within MISS and makes a meaningful difference to people who have had a miscarriage, helping to achieve their goal of supporting women and men after an early pregnancy loss and onto their next pregnancy.
As Secretary, your role is to provide assistance and support to the Chairperson and Board of Trustees within the charity.
Key Tasks include:
*Responsible for the MISS generic email. Responding to enquiries and or forwarding onto other members of the MISS team.
*Minute and note taking ensuring good governance.
*Supporting MISS with administration tasks.
*Producing agendas and supporting with meeting preparations.

We are looking for a Treasurer to join our Community Sports Hub Committee and help guide our organisation as it moves forward into what we see as a new and exciting phase.
We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and dynamic individuals with accounting and finance experience to assist with the continuous improvement of our work.
The committee meets once every three months for two hours whilst sub-groups meet separately to develop new projects and areas of interest.

Citymoves Dance Agency SCIO is a regional dance charity based in Aberdeen, in the North East of Scotland. Our charitable purpose is to lead positive impacts through dance. The organisation was established as an independent Scottish charity in 2015.

Citymoves’ trustees are responsible for the governance and strategy of the charity. We welcome applications at any time, from individuals with a variety of skills.

We welcome both new and experienced trustees from across the UK. We are interested in people who are enthusiastic about learning, and who would like to contribute to the development of dance in the North East of Scotland.
*Time commitment:
Trustees are expected to attend the Quarterly Finance Meeting and 2 weeks later followed by the Quarterly Board Meetings and one strategic away-day per year.
The Head of the Finance Committee will also attend an annual close out meeting to enable the final approval of annual accounts.
This is a voluntary, 2 to 3 year appointment, with reasonable travel expenses covered. We also have a learning budget and are committed to supporting the development of our Trustees.

Established in 2018, Moray Rape Crisis provides therapeutic support, information and advocacy for children, young people and adults of all genders, aged 11 and over, in the Moray area, who have experienced any form of sexual violence at any time in their lives, including rape, sexual assault, childhood sexual abuse and sexual exploitation. We also work directly with young people in schools and youth settings, and with strategic partners, towards preventing sexual violence.
We are seeking motivated Trustees to help govern our growing and developing service in Moray.
Working to intersectional feminist values, we are seeking a diverse range of women with a commitment to the work we do across Moray. We are particularly interested in applicants from less represented groups, and those with knowledge and experience of governance, strategy, HR and finance. Are you keen on reusable nappies and have the time to attend 2-3, hour-long meetings a year? Orkney Nappy Library are seeking directors as part of our move to become a formal social enterprise. You would be involved in helping us decide on how the library is run - exploring funding options, voting on how funds are spent, coming up with community engagement ideas etc. You are, of course, welcome to be more involved, but the minimum requirement would simply be attending the 2-3 meetings a year at a mutually convenient time. As independent charities, each Sea Cadet unit has trustees to oversee the management and legal undertakings of the unit. This role will undertake “regulated activity” and will therefore require an enhanced disclosure with barring check to be repeated at no less than three yearly intervals.
The primary purpose of the chairperson is to maintain, develop and chair an effective unit management team (UMT) that supports the unit and meets the aims of the Sea Cadet experience.
The secondary purposes of the unit chairperson are:
· To ensure that all the unit’s activities and matters are conducted legally and comply with charity regulations and Marine Society and Sea Cadets (MSSC) policy and procedures.
· To ensure the general welfare, safety and protection of volunteers and cadets when they are involved in unit matters or activities.
· Encouraging cadet forum participation and where appropriate a cadet presence at UMT meetings and unit Annual General Meetings.
· In conjunction with the UMT, to provide a properly maintained, serviced, safe and secure unit premises and property, that is either loaned or owned by the unit.
· In conjunction with the UMT and advised by the CO/OiC to provide where possible the resources necessary for efficient and successful training in the unit.
· To ensure, in consultation with the DO and AO that the unit has a suitable and effective CO/OiC and trained volunteers to meet unit needs.
· To identify unit priorities and potential issues and in conjunction with the UMT develop and maintain plans to address those issues.
