Your responsibilities will be:
1) To assist in the running of the youth programme.
2) To supervise young people and ensure general health & safety and rules of conduct.
3) To assist with necessary programme set-up and clean-up.
4) To facilitate and participate in games, activities and discussions with young people
This is also a great opportunity to develop you customer services, communication and care skills. You will also gain experience working with children and make new friends!

This volunteering opportunity is to support our early year’s activities within our busy centre.
On a Tuesday we have our fun Mucky Pups activities. This is a messy play activity with sand, art and water etc. Parents come along and interact with their children.
We would wish our volunteer to speak to parents, filling up resources and help our caretaking staff set up the resources.
Good induction and ongoing support is provided to all volunteers. A fantastic opportunity to help at a busy and enjoyable group. All volunteers make a real difference and are greatly appreciated.

Busy Bees Playgroup is looking for an enthusiastic, person who enjoys working with children. This opportunity is to help support our 2 Playgroup Leaders.
A variety of activities would be included in this role, from playing games, painting, craft making and most importantly having FUN !
Busy Bees is a small playgroup with up to 20 children aged between 2 yrs and pre-school nursery age.

Children’s Hospices Across Scotland - CHAS (Clacks)
Activities volunteers help to provide physical, social and emotional care to children and their siblings, arranging outings and social events for them to enjoy with other children. The aim of this role is to work within the Activities team to provide fun activities for children and their siblings. Activities help children to build happy memories, have fun and access a wide range of opportunities they might not ordinarily have the chance to get involved in.
WHAT ACTIVITIES WILL I BE INVOLVED IN?
- Physical, emotional and social care of children, siblings and young people.
- Helping with outings and social events
- Keeping activity areas clean and tidy (eg after an art activity)
- Playing with and carrying out a range of activities with children and young people

You can volunteer on any day of the week, for a few hours, in the morning, afternoon or evening. This can be discussed and agreed with your Supervisor and the Hospice Volunteering Development Manager.
