The RNLI’s Lifeboat Station in Loch Ness is looking for a volunteer to join the existing team in the role of Deputy Launching Authority.
Situated on the northern shore of the iconic Loch Ness, lifeboat station volunteers operate in a unique, inland environment. Loch Ness Lifeboat Station was established in 2008.
The impact you will make
This role will help us save lives at sea by carrying out the day to day management of the lifeboat station to ensure a permanent state of readiness for service.
What you will be doing
Authorise launch of the lifeboats
Provide leadership in the absence of the Lifeboat Operations Manager or as delegated
Ensure that all operational activities are carried out to maintain the lifeboats and all associated equipment in a constant state of readiness for launching on service.

Live or work within close proximity of the station and be between 18 and 70 years of age

The 2023 Bowls Scotland National Championships take place at the National Centre for Bowling, Ayr, from Sunday 23rd July until Saturday 29th July and we're now looking for volunteers to assist at one of Scotland's largest annual sporting events.
Over the week more than 1,500 players and 10,000 spectators will pass through the gates at the home of Scottish Bowls. We have a number of roles required to be carried out and no previous experience is required. These include:
