The monthly female peer group is for unpaid carers who look after a relative or friend who has an illness, disability, addiction or are frail or elderly. The group allows carers to meet others in a similar situation, time out from their caring role and access support and information. The facilitator would welcome carers, encourage discussion and liaise with a member of staff to organise relevant speakers if and when requested by carers

The goal is to increase the level of support in the community through volunteers, local organisations and local businesses.
You will work alongside your Community Fundraising Team to help plan the fundraising activities in your local area.
Sunday Key Holder Volunteers would be in charge of opening and running the store unsupervised on Sundays. They would also cash up and lock up the store at the end of the day. Duties would be cleaning, sorting donations, topping up shelves, serving customers and answering telephone.
Volunteers will visit twice a month for two hours to chat, listen or laugh, go for coffee or a walk in the park. That is all it takes to make a difference. Volunteers are given the privilege of hearing extraordinary stories. Volunteers will receive free training, disclosure check, ongoing support, supervision and travel expenses, where applicable
The role of events helper would involve helping set up for events, assisting and speaking to members of the public, helping with refreshments, promoting what the theme of the event is and helping to clear up afterwards.
Offer support to families across our funded regions (West/East Dunbartonshire, Glasgow, North/South Lanarkshire, East Renfrewshire and Renfrewshire) and throughout Scotland, who care for a child with a disability. This support is offered through a range of ways:
