BRAVEHOUND provides assistance dogs to veterans who have a clinical diagnosis of a mental health condition such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, depression and anxiety.
BRAVEHOUND is committed to the long term welfare of each BRAVEHOUND dog and the veteran they have been partnered with over the dog’s lifetime.
We know that a dog can provide companionship, promote taking exercise and give a purpose and structure to each day. Our dogs have been a valuable asset for veterans and their families. They help to facilitate daily life, giving veterans confidence and provide the assistance that the veteran needs.
BRAVEHOUND require a Secretary to the Board. If you are passionate about dogs and the welfare of our veterans then please get in touch. Alternatively you may want to use some of your admin experience to assist with the essential duties of our Board.
Duties include:
To provide secretarial support at the trustee meetings quarterly.
Collate reports prior to the meetings, attend the trustee meetings and AGM.
Take minutes and record action points
Board meetings are held in person in the Lennoxtown premises of BRAVEHOUND.
