Make a real difference to older people in the Clackmannanshire area! Support someone to make the most of life; find out what things could improve their wellbeing and support them to take positive steps towards those things - improving their confidence, reducing their isolation, and helping them stay connected to their communities. You can help by accompanying them to a favourite club, helping them try different activities and make new friends, supporting their mobility and building up their strength again, or just dropping in for a cuppa and a chat - whatever it takes to make their day! This role is flexible and can fit around your availability; Ideally you would visit weekly for between 1-2 hours for a period of around 12 weeks. You'll build relationships with the people you visit, something that's rewarding for you and the people you spend time with. This is a social support role; no personal care is involved. You'll get all relevant training, all travel expenses are reimbursed, and you will be welcomed and supported by a friendly, local team!
