DEBRA is a national charity and patient support organisation for people living with the rare, extremely painful, genetic skin blistering condition, Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) also known as ‘Butterfly Skin’. EB causes the skin to become very fragile and tear or blister at the slightest touch. With your help we can find treatments and cure(s) for EB. Volunteering in a DEBRA shop can teach you new skills as well as meeting new people and gaining experience in retail. The role involves: - Operating a till to take cash and card payments - Engaging with customers on the shop floor - Replenishing stock on the shop floor - Recording donor details for gift aid - Creating eye catching displays

We’ve been invited to take part in a special opportunity with Scotmid/Semi-Chem stores, who are supporting Alzheimer Scotland as their Charity of the Year. This means we can have a presence in local stores to help raise awareness and fundraise for people living with dementia – and we’d love your help!   What’s Involved: Stores are open 7 days a week from 6am/7am until 10pm, so you can choose dates and times that suit you. You can help by collecting donations and chatting to shoppers to raise awareness. You can volunteer for just one or two hours, or longer if you wish – it’s completely flexible. We’ll provide t-shirts, and you won’t need to handle any money – the Scotmid store team will take care of counting donations after your session. Join Generations Working Together (GWT) as we work towards a Scotland where generations are more connected. If you would like to get involved in intergenerational work, learn more about the practice, and help strengthen community connections, this could be the perfect volunteer role for you! As an Intergenerational Community Connector, you’ll get the chance to: • Help one of our development team members plan and run 2–3 local network meetings each year. • Spread the word about the benefits of intergenerational work within your community. • Share and promote GWT events, meetings, publications, and training opportunities. • Connect with local groups and encourage them to showcase their intergenerational projects through the network and GWT.

Kingdom Off Road Motorcycle Club aims to make the communities in Fife safer by providing a controlled area for children, young people, and adults to enjoy off-road motorcycling. The organisation is currently looking for Safety Marshal Volunteers to help ensure bike and track safety. This role will typically involve: • Enforcing club rules • Observing riders and issuing warning flags when necessary • Preparation of the track • Administrating basic First Aid • Signing riders on to the track All volunteers will be inducted into the organisations and offered training relevant to their role. Out of pocket travel expenses will be reimbursed on a weekly basis.
