No matter how good our services are, we can't properly support our users/community well if we don't have good organisers in the team. If this sounds like you... we would love you to consider volunteering with us for a few hours per week.
Giving your time could make a huge difference to people with Dementia and those who care for them. We help people with any type of Dementia by providing information, support and services through our Community Connexion Groups.
We need volunteers to help us provide vital support throughout West Dunbartonshire local area. You can volunteer on a regular basis, or help us a few hours.
Volunteering offers the chance to develop and build skills, knowledge and experience. It is also enjoyable, rewarding and a great way to help others.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
Assist with serving food and drinks to guests
Take food and drink orders accurately and politely
Set up tables before service and clear tables after meals
Maintain cleanliness of dining and service areas
Wash dishes and assist with dishwasher duties
Support kitchen and front-of-house staff as needed
Follow food hygiene and safety guidelines at all times
So whether you are looking to use your time well, update your skills or have the chance to do something a bit new, we can offer you a warm welcome and all of the support and help you could need.
We are seeing a rise in demand for our services everyday. Having your help will allow us to be there for the people who need us. Any time you can give will make a real difference.
