DEBRA is a national charity and patient support organisation for people living with the rare, extremely painful, genetic skin blistering condition, Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) also known as ‘Butterfly Skin’. EB causes the skin to become very fragile and tear or blister at the slightest touch. With your help we can find treatments and cure(s) for EB. Volunteering in a DEBRA shop can teach you new skills as well as meeting new people and gaining experience in retail. The role involves: - Operating a till to take cash and card payments - Engaging with customers on the shop floor - Replenishing stock on the shop floor - Recording donor details for gift aid - Creating eye catching displays

PAPYRUS is working towards building suicide-safer communities across the UK. You can get involved as a volunteer to help us achieve this goal You can: Write blogs posts and get involved on social media about your lived experiences of suicide and mental health. Deliver presentations to people in your community, such as schools, workplaces, and faith groups. These are 30-minute sessions called SP-ARK: Suicide Prevention – Awareness, Resource, Knowledge Attend events and run stalls such as Pride, county fairs, wellbeing days, University freshers’ fairs, and fundraising events. Help us to reach your communities by connecting us with groups and organisations you care about. Share new ideas: we’re always open to new opportunities to make our communities suicide-safer.

The Youth Group Volunteer supports staff in delivering safe, welcoming and engaging youth group sessions. Volunteers help create a positive environment where young people feel comfortable, supported and included.

The Volunteer Projects Lead helps support and co-ordinate projects and activities across Megan's Space. This role involves helping organise events, supporting volunteers, assisting with planning tasks and ensuring projects run smoothly. This role helps create positive experiences for young people, families, volunteers, and the wider community while supporting the ongoing growth and development of Megan's Space.
