Kingswells Toddlers Group is a fun place for children from baby to pre-school age to come and play, and a safe place for parents and carers to socialise and play with their children.
Through the Centre, the children have access to a range of indoor equipment from climbing and slide structures to soft play and everyday toys, we are also in the process of setting up and outdoor area for the children to play.
The group is usually set up and tidied by parents, but we are looking for volunteers to come in to the Centre on a Tuesday and Thursday morning from 9am-11.30am and set out all the toys, engage with the children and parents and organise a few small activities with the children like messy play, story telling or basic crafts, then tidy up again at the end of the group.
This would be a great opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about working with smaller children and is sociable with adults.
The Community Centre would provide a PVG check and Introduction to Child Protection course.
A fantastic opportunity to help and make a real difference in the community. For more details please contact Nicole Farquharson, Centre Manager at email: info@kccwp.co.uk or telephone: 01224 741806
Kingswells Community Centre lies in the heart of the village and is the heart of the community. The Centre boasts a large sports hall, a coffee shop and 2 meeting rooms which provide a very busy schedule for all age groups. As well as activities we aim to provide a wide scope of services for the community which includes a library, free school uniform, a warm space, baby weighing facilities and free sanitary products. We also engage with the community to put on large scale events for the whole family, our annual Christmas party tickets for 220 people sell out in a day and we have organised and run 2 highly successful gala days.
