We’ve been invited to take part in a special opportunity with Scotmid/Semi-Chem stores, who are supporting Alzheimer Scotland as their Charity of the Year.
This means we can have a presence in local stores to help raise awareness and fundraise for people living with dementia – and we’d love your help!
What’s Involved:
Stores are open 7 days a week from 6am/7am until 10pm, so you can choose dates and times that suit you.
You can help by collecting donations and chatting to shoppers to raise awareness.
You can volunteer for just one or two hours, or longer if you wish – it’s completely flexible.
We’ll provide t-shirts, and you won’t need to handle any money – the Scotmid store team will take care of counting donations after your session.
When:
Opportunities are available anytime from now through until August 2026.
This is a lovely way to get involved, and fundraise for a cause close to many of us.
If you or someone you know would be interested in taking part, please complete/submit the following:
Scotmid Charity of the Year Volunteering Opportunity 2026 – Fill out form
If you are interested, please click the ‘Apply’ button below (available when logged in and registered). You will then be contacted by the coordinator by email or phone call. If you have not heard back after 5 working days, the first step is to contact the organisation with the contact details provided. You could also check your junk/spam folder for your emails, just in case the response is there. If that doesn’t work out, then please feel free to contact Volunteer Glasgow.
We provide specialist support to people with dementia and their families throughout the Falkirk Council Area.
