Description

Join our fun and welcoming team at the heart of our local gaming cafe! We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help keep our space clean, friendly and running smoothly. Duties include clearing tables, running food, operating the till, barista tasks, light cleaning (including floors, bathrooms and bar area), and restocking drinks. You'll also help with basic kitchen porter duties like loading the dishwasher.

No experience needed - just a positive attitude and willingness to help! We also offer opportunities to learn barista skills or get involved in the kitchen if you're interested in growing your skills.

Experience required: Interest in the community - no skills/experience required.

Taster available: Yes
Taster details: One volunteer taster session is run for 4 hours, usually on a weekend to see if the volunteer feels comfortable in the role before volunteering officially.

We're looking for enthusiastic kitchen volunteers to help prepare and cook basic hot and cold meals, make milkshakes, and ensure food orders are handled efficiently and on time. You'll be responsible for keeping kitchen surfaces clean throughout your shift, practicing proper handwashing, and supporting the team by maintaining hygiene and flow in a busy kitchen environment. No experience needed - just a positive attitude and a willingness to learn! Full training provided, with opportunities to develop your kitchen skills as you go.

Care to Connect is inviting volunteers to help create a friendly, welcoming and supportive space for adult unpaid carers across Lochaber.
