Description

We are looking for help with our lovely small garden area at AberNecessities (located at Abernecessities, Grove House, Howe Moss Road, Dyce, AB21 0ER). It is a great spot for all our volunteers and staff to take a bit of time out away from their work stations. If anyone interested in gardening had any spare time perhaps a few hours per week or even fortnightly and could help with weeding the garden we would be very grateful.

We are a local charity in Aberdeen (Registered Charity SC049024). We raise vital funds for Orchard Brae school which is a school for children with multiple and complex additional support needs. As one of the charity partners at this year's Run Garioch, AberNecessities contributes to the success of this event by providing race marshalls to direct and cheer on the runners ! Marshalls are needed for the 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon. A fantastic morning outside in Inverurie with a fun atmosphere, knowing that your support will help us to continue to make a real difference in the community. A briefing will be provided by race organisers on the day. Event takes place on Sunday 10th May 2026
