The Heart of Fife Parish Church are a new Church of Scotland Parish covering the historic parishes of the Glenrothes, Markinch, Thornton, and Leslie areas of Fife.
The Church provide a ‘Warm Welcome’ community space, open to the public, every Tuesday and Thursday. The space is offered to the local community, as a space to bring their children, engage in arts and crafts and to enjoy the company of others. A soup lunch is provided on a Tuesday and refreshments on a Thursday.
Volunteers are required on both a Tuesday and Thursday to support this initiative. Typically, tasks will involve, welcoming members of the public, setting up, clearing away activities, and serving refreshments.

Experience required: The organisation is looking for committed and reliable volunteers with a friendly an approachable manner who are willing to work as part of a team.
Travel details: This opportunity takes place in St Drostan’s Church Hall, Markinch, Fife, which is well served with a public bus and train service, in addition to on street parking in the near vicinity.
